3rd & 4th class participated in lots of fun maths games and puzzles as part of maths week. Challenge: Can you move the palm of your hand from front to back without twisting your wrist? 3rd & 4th CAN!! Hint: Elbow.....right angle!!

3rd class were invited to Belturbet Library to meet Jackie Burke, author of 'The Secrets of Grinklewood'.  3rd & 4th class participated in the Created in Cavan School Food Programme. Thank you to Imelda for visiting us over four weeks to teach the boys about local food, food producers, food sustainability and increase awareness of food miles and food origins. 3rd & 4th class enjoyed their trip to Belturbet Railway Station. Thank you very much to our very informative tour guides Tony Prior and Zaneta. The boys enjoyed learning all about this historical landmark!  |
