2nd and 3rd class made rockets during Space week this month. They used all recycled material to create their artpieces, including toilet roll holders, recycled pringles tins, recycled paper, and other resources.

Three cross country teams made the journey to Killinkere yesterday for the annual cross-country races. A great day was had by all and it was ideal cross country weather and conditions. Ewan placed 4th overall in the senior boys race and Paddy placed 6th in the junior race. Overall, our junior team placed 1st in the junior boys category and the senior team placed 3rd in their senior boys category. What a great success, a huge congrats to all involved! A big thank you to Val for attending on the day too to help out and take photos!
2nd and 3rd class baked Traditional Brown Bread on Thursday! Mark's granny kindly made and sent in some home-made jam to go along with our bread.
Best of luck to our local Rory O'Moores intermediate team in the county final this Sunday the 6th of October! We want to wish an extended best of luck to our past pupils on the team. The atmosphere leading up to the big match around the Belturbet has been and is electric! Flags, bunting and maroon and white colours are soaring high and proud.
The boys in St. Mary's are giving a big cheer to their local team for the weekend ahead. 'Up the Rory's!' 2nd and 3rd class are thoroughly enjoying their music lessons with music generation. ![]()
