LIVING THINGS
3rd & 4th class studied their own fingerprints and determined which fingerprint pattern they had - loop/whorl/arch. We then conducted a class survey on fingerprint patterns and found that 13 had the ‘loop’ pattern, 10 had the ‘whorl’ pattern and 7 had the ‘arch’ pattern.
5th & 6th class studied the food pyramid 'as Gaeilge' and the importance of a healthy diet. They also made their own digestive systems!

MATERIALS
2nd class used gummy bears to investigate the process 'osmosis'.
